Computer- A large room will be configured with computers that are networked and

Interactive This component will utilize the latest in interactive video and related
Video technology that will be linked to the computers. Information from around the nation and the world will be available through distance learning technique and use of the Internet. Leaders will become adept at using multi-media technology.
Media/ This component will focus on the training of youth to become highly skilled
Communi- in a variety of technology-assisted media/communication processes. Through the
cations effective use of computer graphics arts and other medium, youth will develop a wide variety of empowering messages to be distributed to appropriate audiences. The youth and adults will work with the leaders in training to assist them in becoming familiar with technology-assisted communicative processes.
University This component features a partnership with a local university in partnership with a network of higher education institution that will be responsible for research, training and credentialing.
Network A national network of appropriate entities will be established and maintained electronically.
